How do I check if an email is disposable?

Paste the address or just the domain. The checker tests it against 76,804 domains from four community-maintained blocklists, flags free providers and role accounts, and can verify the domain's MX records - all in your browser.

Is the email address I type sent to your server?

No. The blocklists are downloaded to your browser once and every check runs locally on your machine. The optional MX lookup queries Cloudflare's public DNS resolver directly from your browser. We never receive, log or store any address, which is why there is no usage limit.

What does a 'confirmed disposable' verdict mean?

The domain appears on the manually vetted blocklist (each entry requires proof of a working throwaway inbox) or on at least two independent community lists. 'Reported' means a single list carries it - treat that as a caution, not a conviction.

Can this tell me if a mailbox actually exists?

No, and by design. Mailbox probing requires SMTP connections that leak your data to third-party mail servers. This tool answers the domain-level questions: is it disposable, is it a free provider, is it a role account, and does the domain accept mail at all (MX).

What it deliberately does not do

No SMTP mailbox probing. Services that "verify the mailbox exists" open connections to mail servers with your address list in hand; that is a data leak and a deliverability risk we refuse on principle.
